# Dealing with Bans

* Can't send messages
* WhatsApp notification of restriction
* 24-48 hour ban

WhatsApp detected suspicious activity and temporarily restricted your account. This is a warning.

**Wait Period:**

* Wait 3-5 days after ban lifts before resuming
* Use phone only for manual, personal messages
* Do not send any bulk messages

**Restart Warm-Up:**

* Start from Phase 1 (Days 1-2)
* Follow full 14-day warm-up process
* Be extra conservative with volume
* Monitor delivery rates obsessively

**Common Triggers to Avoid:**

* Sending bulk without drip mode
* Identical messages to many recipients
* Messaging cold contacts
* Too much volume too fast
* Spammy or promotional content

WhatsApp has permanently restricted your account. This is very difficult to reverse.

**1. Appeal Process:**

* Use WhatsApp's in-app appeal option

* Explain your legitimate business use
* Success rate is low (\~10-20%)

**2. Start Fresh:**

* Get a new phone number
* Use a different device/SIM if possible
* Follow warm-up process religiously
* Learn from previous mistakes

**3. Alternative Solutions:**

* Consider WhatsApp Business API (official)
* Use multiple numbers to distribute risk
* Implement stricter compliance processes
